According to South Korean customs statistics, in 2014 South Korea and China's bilateral trade amounted to $ 235.4 billion, an increase of 2.8%. Mechanical and electrical products, optical and medical equipments,chemical products are the main products of Korea's exports to China, in 2014 exports were $ 65.94 billion, $ 20.4 billion and $ 17.77 billion, together accounted for 71.6% of Korea's total exports to China, export of electromechanical products an increase of 5.7%, optical and medical equipments,chemical products exports down to 6.4% and 4.0%. South Korean imports from China ranked the top three commodities are electronic products, base metals and products, and chemical products, in 2014 imports amounted to $ 38.89 billion, $ 14.68 billion and $ 7.01 billion, an increase of 8.7%, 17.6% and 10.1%, accounting for Korea 43.2% of total imports from China, 16.3% and 7.8%. 2014 South Korean imports of major commodities from China, transport equipment, mineral larger negative growth.
